The whole thing about body-powers? That's not a lie. I'm a body-hopper, I take over other people's bodies and control them. I don't have a human body of my own, because i'm not human.
This body? It's actually Ichigo's. For him to fight hollows, he has to leave his pysical body and fight as a soul. I take over his body and pretend to be him when he does that, so nobody notices that he's missjng.

Right before I showed up, that clone-thing happened. Ichigo figured it'd be easier to say that I am his twin than to try to explain the truth. Plus, not everybody in my world is okay with mod-souls, so it protects me from them if they don't know.
So this is Ichigo's body, right? Since it's his, he can kick me out of it. He did that on accident one day, and I got knocked into the next closest body, which was Adachi's.
[That's not the full truth, he's leaving out the bit about being a piece of candy. But it's pretty much the truth. ]

Well, Ichigo is special anyway. He's got soul-powers, remember? He can knock me out of any body, I think.

Well, he kinda just hung around there. I didn't check to see if his soul chain was there, but I'm guessing it was, so he wouldn't have gotten far anyway. As soon as Ichigo shoved me out of Adachi's body, Adachi's soul went right back in.
...er, people who are alive have their souls literally chained to their body, so even if they have an out-of-body experience they can't get far away from it. Only people with special soul-powers, like Ichigo, don't have those chains.
And, well, dead people too. When you die, the chain breaks, and you can't go back in your body.
[Yosuke doesn' actually know anything about Ichigo's powers. The most he knows is that he has them, but he's never actually seen him use any kind of special power, much less heard what it does.
Still, he understands Kon's explanation of what happened with Adachi, and decides it probably doesn't really matter anyway. Focus on the issue, Yosuke.]

Sometimes? Like, when it happened to Karin ages ago- er, Karin is Ichigo's little sister- she thought it was just a freaky dream and didn't have clear memories of it. But sometimes people remember the whole thing. Some freak out, some don't, it depends on if they've seen freaky stuff before or not.
Usually it's people with strong powers who remember, too. It's often a sign that they've either got latent powers, or they've already developed them-

[Kon's phone will suddenly get a video call request. While it's pending, a sound similar to glass shattering and wind blowing can be heard on the other line.
Once it's accepted, the video will open with Yosuke's Persona already inside the frame, towering behind him, floating a short distance from the ground.]
...This is mine. Say hi, Susano-o. [Yosuke turns the phone around and holds it up to his Persona, showing it off. The creature doesn't have much of a face to register a reaction with, but it manages to look calm somehow.]
[YEP that is the first question that comes to Kon's mind. Now how this is all possible, not anything about the logistics of Personas, just fan blades.]
[For real though, Susano-o is a part of him - Kon might as well have hold Yosuke that he thinks he's ugly or has a tiny dick - and he's saved his life more times that Yosuke can count. You don't diss the Persona, mmkay.

The problem is that once I leave a body, it literally becomes a living corpse. It won't break down right away, but it won't have a soul in it, so it just lays there. And I can't do anything if I'm not in a body, so someone has to put me in another body.
